Your hackathons

The home screen: every hackathon you run, with its stage and progress at a glance.

Your hackathons is the home screen. It lists every hackathon you created, newest first, with its stage and how far judging has got. From here you open a hackathon or start a new one.

The list only holds your own hackathons. Each hackathon belongs to the organizer who created it, so other organizers on the same instance have their own lists.

If you open / while signed out, you're sent to the sign-in screen. See Sign in and settings. On the official RoundOne site, signed-out visitors see the landing page instead; see Configuration.

The summary line#

Under the heading, a line counts your hackathons ("events") and the total number of projects across all of them.

Cards and list views#

The Cards and List switch at the top right changes how the hackathons are shown. The page opens in Cards view each time you load it.

Cards#

Each card shows:

  • The hackathon's banner, or a generated pixel cover in its color when there's no banner.
  • Its logo, or initials when there's no logo, and its tagline.
  • Its name, dates ("Dates TBD" when none are set), and its project and judge counts.
  • A status badge. While judging runs, the card also shows the percent reviewed and a progress bar. Once results are published, the badge has a check mark and the card shows a Winners page line.

The last tile, Start a hackathon, opens Create a hackathon.

List#

The list is a table with Name, Dates, Stage, Progress, Projects and Judges columns. With no hackathons yet, it shows "No hackathons yet." and a Start one link.

Status#

The status badge combines the hackathon's stage with where judging stands.

StatusMeaning

Judging — phase nameJudging is running, in the named phase.
JudgingThe stage is Judging but no phase is running.

See Key concepts for how a hackathon moves between stages.

Progress#

Progress is the share of the running phase's judge assignments that have been submitted. Reviews an organizer adds as their own don't count. It reads 0% before judging starts and 100% once the hackathon reaches Results.

Opening a hackathon#

Click a card or a name in the list. The hackathon opens in the area that matches its stage:
